Squirming...
at the thought of having to take my medicine... yucks... urs truly was on mc yesterday due to coughing (the throat is damn itchy) and a running nose... went to the doc yesterday morning bcoz if i dun go, i wont have an mc... if i dun have the mc, then i cant absent myself from sch... and if i dun absent myself from sch, i wont get my rest... if i dun get my rest, i wont get any better... and so it goes... and the dear dear doc gave me some pills... sheesh... no way am i gonna eat those... and i was fasting neway... like duh... i can only take my medicine in the evening... so i managed to get some rest yesterday, and i feel a lil bit beta now... tho my voice kinda resembles a minah rock dis morning... at some point, i opened my mouth to say smtg but no voice came out... haha... like it got stuck in my throat or smtg...
neways, juz finished marking a set of compo exam papers... the common marking was yesterday morn, so since i was absent... the kind pple have 'saved' some scripts for me to mark... so i brought them home today... we actually started the marking on monday but we only managed to finish 4 classes... had 7 more classes to mark yesterday... we were shorthanded to start with and i was on mc... soooooo of coz cannot finish lah... dey arent superwomen, mind u... so dats done Alhamdulillah... a load off my mind...
had juz finished typing the HRC thingy... halfway done... abt 15 more short stories to compose... hehe... tink i might juz be able to make it for the deadline... Insya Allah will complete for the whole class by tomoro... another reporting-early day tomoro... hmmm... guess we have to come down early everyday dis week for the common marking... kinda tiring... but wateva... gotta get it done... and i'm tinking wat on earth am i gonna do wif my pupils once the exams are over... dey'll be in such jubilant holiday mood, it'll be even harder to make them sit still... sheesh..
back to the yucky medicine... i have 3 different pills to take for fever, running nose and the throat... out of which i'm gonna take only one... for the running nose... hehe... dat is torturous enuf, believe me... the one for the fever is like biiig... one look and i noe i aint gonna touch them... plus i have a bottle of cough syrup... dis is fine, taste kinda sweet... hmmmmmm...
my eyes are closing and my bed's beckoning... guess i beta get down to the unfavourable bisnes of taking my medicine and then going to zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

Cracking...
my brain to think of pleasant things to write in my pupils' holistic reoort card... hehe... dat sounds pretty harsh ya... but honestly, its really such a chore... imagine writing approximately 80 words for each pupil... multiply dat by 40, its like 3200 words!!! not much different from writing a blardy essay during my NIE days... plus, we *ahem* educators have to like give positive comments... regardless of how much dat particular kid 'suck ur blood' every single day, through his/her display of attitude dat is like beyond repair... aaargh... the lies i have to concoct... sinful, but i gotta do it... hehehe... why do we have to blanket ourselves with such ignorance or denial... wats wrong with saying outright to the parents what their children are really like in school... hmmm... probably wld give them a heart attack... guess i juz stick to doing wat was instructed ya... thankfully, i do have angels in my class... at least i can smile while typing their reports...
k enuf abt werk... so depressing... hehe... went to geylang again today... juz me & mummy dis time... had to exchange her baju coz its was ermmmm ill-fitting... hehe... thought we cld beat the crowd by reaching ard noon... but boy were we surprised... throngs of pple all ard, busy wif shopping... sheesh... how early did dey set off... then we bought baju kurung for abah and my darling bro... but when we reached home, we realised the tauke had given us the wrong size for my bro... sooooooo mummy will have to make her third trip in as many days to geylang tomoro to exchange it for the right size... ish ish... kalau dekat takpe jugak... we also bought a biiiig flower arrangement thingy for the living room... i lurve it... quite a good bargain... and flowers are always nice... hehe... so right now, the one thing left for me to scout for is curtains for my room... wanted a white or light pink one... but so hard to find... strange...
yaaaaawn... tomoro marks the start of another week where i have to come early practically every morning... for common marking... gonna be tiring... already, my throat feels exceptionally dry today and it hurts a lil when i swallow... need to drink lots and lots of water... (water parade, anyone???)... apart from the marking duties, gonna put up the hari raya deco ard sch... dats the downside of teaching in a pri sch... u have to do all these stuffs urself... whereas in sec sch, u can get the pupils to climb here and der to help out coz dey are like big enuf... but doing the deco thingy wld be fun, albeit tiring... once its completed, ders a sense of satisfaction... lets hope all goes well... tho i've already made a (rather big) blunder... urs truly bought the cloth needed for the deco yesterday while at geylang, and clever me forgot to ask for the receipt... sheesh...
all in all, an eventful weekend... suasana raya pun sudah mula dirasai... (ceh not bad ah bahasa melayu)... and Alhamdulillah, preparations for KY's big day are going smoothly... so Insya Allah things will go well.. so exciting... hehe

Counting...
two things in particular... the amount of money i've spent most recently and the amount of time left before the sch hol starts... hmmmm... the former is definitely alarming and the latter is slightly more comforting...
urs truly went to town yesterday, accompanied by dear tini, to make use of my robinsons voucher... bought some (read: expensive) stuffs from the Lancome counter... guess now i must put in extra extra extra effort to put on makeup... so as to be blardy sure dat dey dun go to waste... but personally i feel its such a hassle to 'plaster' my face wif stuff everytime i wanna go out or head for work... coz when i get home i have to remove them properly otherwise the red dots will start appearing again... but on the other hand, wearing makeup makes me look nicer (like duh)... haha... getting kinda vain here...
went to geylang today wif my parents, nora & sakeenah... and surprise surprise... i spent like a bomb... bought curtains for our living room... and 3 sets of baju from RH fashion for me, nora and mami... to be worn on KY's wedding reception... tho the clothes are on 50% sale, dey will still burn a hole in ur pocket coz dey are like waaaaay pricey.... but very very nice leh... so close one eye lah ya... skali skala pakai baju eksklusif dan mahal nak mampos... hahaha... tapi jgn buat slalu lah eh... i'll go bankrupt... then i remembered dat i have not bought any clothes thingy for abah and my darling bro... the guys are somehow normally not the priority when it comes to 'dressing up'... hmmm... come to tink of it, isnt KY supposed to be sponsoring all these??? it is HER wedding anyway... hehe...
so all in all... in the short period of the past 2 days... i've spent an amount very close to the equivalent of half a month of my pay... yikes... i betta stop tinking about it or it will stress me out... hahaha... good thoughts... good thoughts...
on a lighter happier note... not sure if its really dat much lighter and happier but wateva... at least it's betta compared to the issue i've discussed earlier... the kids are gonna have their exams dis coming week... (it means another week of marking and cumin to sch very early for us) soooooo the term is finally cumin to an end... yippee!!! but not to rejoice too soon... still need to mark the exam papers... do the hari raya decorations in sch... blah blah blah...
looking forward to the hols... for a much deserved and needed break... tho i'm sill undecided as to wer to go... hmmmm...

Updating...
finally, after a month-long hiatus, miz sweetness is back... hahaha... cant believe i actually didnt post a single thing for the past 30 days or so... but i'm back wif a bang... hmmm... kinda not too sure wer to start and wat to mention in dis entry... quite a number of memorable incidences have happened... (1) the accidental free makeover dat i got and their 'lokek'ness at giving us the pics and rudeness when we said we aint buying the (damn expensive) package... (2) the children's day carnival at sch which went well (praises to Allah for fine weather dat day)... (3)commemorating my turning a quarter of a century... (4) iftar wif da NIE sistahood...
the babes in da sistahood seem to be doing well... one recently got a nice lil car for herself... (congrats beb! cantik sungguh krete itu! and God noes wat u went thru to get dat liscence... hehe)... another one got herself a new baby... congrats to her too... he's such a cute baby and his 2-yr-old sister is simply adorable... but cute as dey are, i wouldnt want to be left alone wif them... coz i have 2 of my own at home... and its really chaotic... hehehe... dey r only cute when they aint crying... or when dey are responding to ur goo goo- ga ga... hmmm... feels good to see the ladies... hope to meet up wif them again for raya... esp since last year's raya outing kinda tak menjadi...
my bday celebration dis time round kinda subdued a lil coz it's the blessed month of Ramadan... not dat dey were normally happening giler... but u get the picture... tak kan lah nak party sakan... really appreciate the effort by those wonderful pple who 'organised' the itinery for the nite... (1) the pink pink flowers dey got me... lurve it to bits... dey go very well wif da rest of my room... hehe... (2) the dinner-cum-breaking fast which was like a feast by my standards... never (or very rarely) had so much food for iftar before... (3) the vip guest... (looks like my agent cari jodoh is working overtime...) hahahaha... bagus... teruskan perjuangan (dan rekomendasi)anda... (4) the coffee bday cake... yummy yummy... superb choice (5) the voucher... heavenly... juz the rite present for a shopaholic... soooo a sincere thank you from the bottom of my broken heart... hahaha... step Britney Spears pulak... but seriously, thank you so very much... great friends are hard to find... and u guys are amazing... and another surprise awaits me upon my return home... my younger sis, Nora, made me a.... guess wat??? tiramisu for my bday... hehehe... am i blessed or wat... been talking abt tiramisu... how nice it was, the one my aunt made for me & cuzin rini when we visited her in Jakarta... the 2 of us were like pretending to be civil and not eating too much at one go... but i bet if no one noticed, we wld like wolf it down in minutes... hehe.... neway, tanks sis... so nice of u...
been tinking abt the dec hols lately, since its getting nearer... i guess my dreams of Istanbul have all but vanished... *buckets of tears*... hmmm... my dear cuzin if u r reading dis, u better not bubble me abt Australia in June 06... or i'll kill ya... hehe... if not down under, u have to take me to Spain... dis is a subtle threat... u beta save wateva $ u need for the trip by next year... but i guess in my desperation to go overseas, i might sponsor u a bit ya... *winks*... highly dependable on how u treat me dis next few months... hahahahaha... soooooo... prob i shld juz make a second trip to Jakarta dis dec... but i gotta get back in time for my best fren's wedding... dilema lagik... tak abis2...
anyways, at the home front... KY's wedding is like a month away... quite exciting but i tink the tension, excitement and everyone shouting at one another abt wat shld be done or how it shld be done will come later ya... hehe... another chaotic scene coming up in my life... cant wait... bring it on...
